Rachael Asonibare is the Chief Information Officer for Nigeria and West Africa at Standard Chartered Bank. Rachael is an advocate for employee development, and she is an active member of the Bank’s Network of Women (NOW). She champions an annual awareness program on health, wellness and fitness. She is a career mentor to several women both in and outside of the Bank and is committed to helping them upskill their capabilities to take advantage of the new evolving professional roles within the professional industry. Racheal is passionate about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) especially on education and the empowerment of women and youths. Most recently, she sponsored a CSR program on Climate Change to create awareness and enable the behavioural and societal support required for the achieving the global net zero agenda. Rachael consistently works towards inspiring young girls in Information Technology and Cybersecurity through ELICIT, an NGO she co-founded.
