In addition to her main job, Nadjia chairs DE&I for BCG’s largest region covering Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South America. She oversees the regional networks: Women@BCG, Pride@BCG, Accessibility, and Ethnic & Cultural Diversity with a focus on gender, driving the mission internally to step-change BCG gender diversity, especially women’s representation, particularly at senior levels across the region. Nadjia has been driving the change across Recruiting, Sponsorship; Career Support, Bonding; Policies, and External Engagement. She has ensured the company’s policies have maintained equal retention rates of men and women across cohorts, resulting in a 10% increase in the number of junior female consultants in the last two years and this year, a 5% increase in experienced women hires. Nadjia’s involvement with DEI goes beyond BCG by being a Trustee of the charity Women for Women International UK, which helps women affected by war and conflict to rebuild their lives and communities through a holistic curriculum of social and economic empowerment.
