Louise was appointed Chief HR Officer in January 2022 and is the Executive member responsible for the design and implementation of Diageo’s Inclusion and Diversity strategy. In her previous role as Global Talent Director, Louise led the creation of Diageo’s Thriving Through Menopause guidelines in 2021 to raise awareness and understanding of menopause throughout the business. The guidelines are live in over 40 countries and in June, Louise championed Diageo to become the first global company to make the balance+ menopause app available to all employees. Under Louise’s leadership as Global Talent Director, she helped to foster a culture with inclusion and diversity at its heart and developed Diageo’s approach to talent development and acquisition. During her time in this role, she worked to drive the representation of women in leadership roles from 28% in 2016 to 42% in 2021.
