As a passionate believer that diverse teams outperform, Katie is at the forefront of leading Goldman Sachs diversity efforts and is a champion for women at the firm and across the industry. She has built and leads one of the industry’s most gender diverse investing teams where over 50% of the team’s $330bn AUS is managed by female portfolio managers. She is a member of the Steering Committee for the Asset Management Division’s D&I Council and is the firm’s sponsor for the ‘Girls Who Invest’ program. Over the past four years, Katie has evolved the firm’s proxy voting policy to push for greater levels of diversity on public company boards and has seen significant improvement, with 68% of all-male boards voted against in 2019 having added at least one woman director. Externally, Katie serves on the Board of the Toigo Foundation, which seeks to advance inclusive leadership within finance and beyond.
