After these past two years of the pandemic, Ishita’s focus is to push forward equitable policies and a safe work environment to drive gender equality. As the Supply Chain leader at EY, she has ensured that 50% of candidates considered for any role should be female. In addition, she has furthered EY’s culture of flexible working hours which could help young mothers manage work and childcare commitments. Ishita also has organized monthly sharing sessions by women leaders and has been a mentor to young women within the company. Thanks to her efforts, her team has 40% gender diversity, with 60% of managers being women. Additionally, Ishita strives to create a better working world outside her company, so she engages with the professional and start-up community in Singapore to promote gender diversity through inspirational speaking, collaboration, support, and mentoring.
