Angela, one of the 3 representatives from APAC sitting on the global Talent Development Committee from 2018 to 2021, has successfully promoted 89 females within the global Legal & Compliance function to the next level of their corporate title. Since 2020, she has been serving as the sponsor for the VP Village and the Associate Arena for BlackRock, social networks for colleagues with junior to mid-level corporate titles. Through these social networks, Angela has been mentoring young female colleagues and assisting them in navigating their careers in the firm. She has coached more than ten female colleagues across different functions and geographical areas, resulting in 2 of them being promoted to VP and Director roles in 2021. She has been conducting career advancing sessions for colleagues in BlackRock Taiwan since 2019 and served as the WIN Chairperson from 2012 to 2019, holding quarterly events to promote gender diversity and inclusion.
