Leanne has been driving gender balance, diversity, and inclusion for over 20 years across tech-comms, luxury and FMCG industries. At Vodafone, Leanne is an Executive Committee Member and Sponsor for its Employee Networks, including the Women’s Network, and led Vodafone’s #CountMeIn diversity data capture initiative to enable an intersectional approach to DEI and strengthen women’s inclusion and representation. She launched the Reciprocal Mentoring program enabling senior leaders to connect with minority groups and, in 2019, equalised parental leave to support parents and families so that responsibilities are shared. In 2022, as part of Vodafone’s support of Ukrainian refugees, she led the Ukraine Employment Programme providing those displaced with employment and resettlement, with 61% of applicants being women. Additionally, Leanne launched Vodafone’s hybrid working model to provide flexibility, including 20 days of remote working from any location to attract and retain diverse talent.
