As CEO of BCG, Christoph has made diversity, equity & inclusion a key priority for the firm. Christoph sets clear aspirations related to the hiring, promotion, and retention of women, working closely with the Executive and Operating Committees to advance this agenda. Women represent 46% of the firm’s workforce and over a third of the Executive Committee and hold critical leadership positions across global functions and regions. BCG also continues to uphold equal retention rates for women and men, with an aim to increase women representation at all levels. In 2023, Christoph sponsored the launch of the BLISS (Bias-Free, Leadership, Inclusion, Safety, and Support) Index to quantify the employee experience of inclusion and ensure everyone can bring their authentic selves to work – creating a happier, more motivated, ambitious workforce. Christoph regularly emphasizes the firm’s commitment to DE&I internally through townhalls and externally via promoting BCG’s groundbreaking thought leadership on the topic.
